Carlson's Snap Caps-.17 HMR Aluminum Rimfire Snap Caps-Pack of 6 (00048)

These .17 HMR snap caps have a variety of uses around the bench and at the range. It is generally accepted that one shouldn't drop the firing pin on an empty chamber - which is the primary reason to have for your favorite guns. Also a great tool for teaching & eliminating flinching.

Please note that these are rimfire and NOT spring loaded like centerfire snap caps and should NOT be used in magazines. Also, because these are solid aluminum snap caps, the rim will deform after a number of strikes from the firing pin, but they should last longer than cheaper plastic rimfire snap caps.
