This magazine, the SMI 13N, is an extended, single-stack 10-rd magazine for the Smith & Wesson 645, 4506, 4566, and 4586 series of pistols in .45ACP. Constructed from heat-treated and Nickel-plated steel, with a follower, lock-plate, and base-plate molded from mil-spec polymer; and using a spring wound from Chrome-silicon wire and heat-treated for strength and reliability.

Because this magazine is a 10 round magazine and holds more rounds than the OEM magazine it will extend beyond the bottom of the mag well.
New magazines can have stiff springs which may make it difficult to load to full capacity until broken in.
