The magazine sleeve slides down over the top of the extended magazine and fills the gap between the bottom of the grip frame and the base of the magazine. X-tension fits over full size magazines to make your sub-compact pistol frame fit a high capacity full size magazine. This does NOT extend the length of your current magazines.
